IN CLASS: We continued working on Lesson 3 of Writer's Workshop: From Theory to Claim. A claim is a statement that we need to prove. We used the anchor text, "Scout's Honor", to find evidence for a claim. Then students wrote a claim for Tuck Everlasting and looked for evidence to support the claim.
