What We Did Today
Students watched the video, "Atoms and Molecules". During the video, they filled out a study guide. Following the video, they started the "Missing Atomic Number" puzzle. This will be due on Friday.
Homework
There will be a quiz on Friday. You will have to know how to read the periodic table. You will need to be able to determine the number of protons, neutrons and electrons and then draw an atom. There will also be a vocabulary section. If you want to get a head-start, the words for the vocabulary section are: atom, compound, element formula, mixture, nucleus, symbol, electron, family, metals, neutron period, periodic table, proton. Flash-cards work great!
