What We Did Today 

Students had the opportunity to complete their study guide in class today. If they finished, they had the choice of working on their project or doing a chemistry scavenger hunt on line.

 

Homework 

Complete your Study Guide - it is due on tomorrow. The test will be on Friday. It will have multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, true or fix-it, and short answer questions. We will go over the study guide tomorrow and will play Jeopardy on Thursday.

 

Chemistry project is due Monday, December 12th. It may be in the form of a poster, Power Point, or Prezi. You are to clearly define and describe your branch of chemistry. You then are to include 5 big ideas about your topic.You may include: types of jobs you could have with a degree in your field, what specific tasks would your perform, what skills would be necessary to be successful, what would you do on a day to day basis, what type of environment would you work in, what special schooling would you need to get your degree, etc. Each big idea should have a graphic that make it easier to understand.  Be sure to keep track of your sources because you will need to cite them. You will be graded on accuracy, neatness, mechanics and oral presentation.
