What We Did Today
1st hour - Students had the opportunity to organize and clean out their folders. Then, we read pages 44-48 and then completed worksheet 2-1.
2nd and 5th hours - Students turned in worksheet 2-1 and then finished "Challenge your Thinking". Once completed with the above, students had to come up with and illustrate an analogy for the movement of solid, liquid and gas particles. They could draw it out as a cartoon or comic strip with captions.
6th and 7th hours - Students turned in worksheet 2-1 and then had the opportunity to organize and clean their binders. We then talked about how analogies help us learn new concepts. They then worked on "Challenge your Thinking" which should be completed by tomorrow.
