BROOKS - LA/TECH, 3/6/12 - 3/8/12

LA
IN CLASS: Grammar Lesson 2: Identifying Compounds Verbs. Introduced our IB Unit: Folk Tales. The guiding question is "How do people's beliefs influence their choices and interactions with others?"
HOMEWORK: Final draft of the literary essay due 3/13. AR book due 3/29.
 
 
TECH
IN CLASS: Edited our LA papers. Introduced the Microsoft Poetry Project.
HOMEWORK: None
 
 
 
I will be out of the building the next 2 days for meetings. The students will be working on grammar and reading folk tales in language arts. After reading, they are to fill in their charts.
In Tech they will continue working on their poetry projects.
