What We Did Today 
Today we started our "Mixed Reactions" lab. Students traveled to various stations to test out various substances. They were to record temperatures and make observations and then determine if a chemical change occurred.
 
Homework 
No new homework. Last night's assignment: Answer the section review questions on page 69 in complete sentences.

IN CLASS: Started Writer's Workshop: The Literary Essay. Today we did Lesson 1: Responding and Theorizing About Characters. We analyzed characters from the anchor text ("Scout's Honor")  and the novel (Tuck Everlasting).
HOMEWORK: ALL TUCK WORK IS DUE TOMORROW (the take-home quiz and the question packet)!!!!!! Finish the character work from class today. AR book due 2/16.

What We Did Today 
Students got their grades for the Super Element projects. We then took Daily Science Quiz 49-60. Following the quiz, students were to read pages 62-69 and then complete the section review questions on page 69. They should be answered in complete sentences.
