IN CLASS: Writer's Workshop Lesson 11: Peer conferencing. Today the students met with partners and shared their literary essays. Students gave feedback and suggestions to improve the drafts.
HOMEWORK: Revise the literary essays. A typed draft is due on Monday. AR books due 3/29.

IN CLASS: Catch up day: keyboarding, typing drafts, etc.

What We Did Today 
We went over yesterday's lab and then watched a video that reinforced many of the same concepts. Students were asked to turn in their notes from pages 16-22 and the micro-viewer packet about cells. I am missing many!
 
Homework 
  • If you did not turn in notes from pages 16-22 finish them tonight - will not be accepted after tomorrow - even for partial credit.
  • START THE EGG-SPERIMENT IF YOU HAVE NOT!!!!!

IN CLASS: Writer's Workshop Lesson 10: Writing a Concluding Paragraph. Today we learned the format for writing a conclusion for the literary essay. Then we wrote our conclusions.
HOMEWORK: Finish conclusion, if necessary. Write or type the entire 1st draft for tomorrow. AR book due 3/29.
